Ingredients
1 1/4 c sugar
4 heaping T flour
1 1/2 c milk
3 egg yolks
1 t vanilla
dash salt
1 T butter
Brown 1/2 c sugar until golden.
Heat remaining ingredients in sauce pan just enough to melt butter stirring constantly.
Pour into melted sugar and stir until smooth and thick.
Set aside to cool.
Make meringue and brown.
