Kaye with Turner at her apartment in Rochester HIlls - May 2021
Dear Turner,
Grandma would often say to me that the day I was born was the happiest day of her life, but I don't think that's completely true. I'm sure it was for a while, but I believe that was superseded on the day that you entered this world. To be able to see her own son experience the same joy of becoming a new parent that she did meant everything to her. I am happy that she was able to see you grow into an intelligent, caring, strong young man. And I am sad that you didn't have more time to get to know her as a person in addition to a grandmother. Whenever you are ready, I have many many stories to share with you.
Love, Dad
